Korea-Based DUCK IL USA Expands Auburn, Alabama, Manufacturing Operations

05/30/2026
Korea-based automotive electronics manufacturer DUCK IL USA plans to expand its operations in Auburn, Alabama. The approximately $21 million project is expected to create 21 jobs.

The investment will include the upgrade of the company’s existing facility, located at Auburn Technology Park West, and the addition of a clean-room manufacturing process for electronic system components used in the automotive industry.

“The operation will allow us to provide complete comprehensive manufacturing solutions to our clients,” added Da Som You, President of DUCK IL USA. “The production line of printed circuit boards in a clean-room setting will provide several technical and engineering jobs in a high-tech industry not yet present in Auburn.”

DUCK IL USA manufactures automotive components and assemblies for vehicle manufacturers and suppliers. The company supports automotive production through component manufacturing, assembly, and supply chain services.

“We are excited to welcome DUCK IL Industries to East Alabama and have them take advantage of everything the state has to offer our businesses,” noted Alabama Department of Commerce Secretary Ellen McNair. “The company has found a great community in Auburn with a highly skilled and experienced local workforce, and I look forward to seeing their successes for years to come.”
