France-Based One Biosciences Plans Albany, New York, Laboratory Operations

04/22/2026
France-based life sciences company One Biosciences plans to establish operations in Albany, New York. The project is expected to create 42 jobs and generate $18 million in capital investment over the next five years.

The company’s new high-complexity laboratory and computational analytics facility will support next-generation cancer diagnostics and therapeutic decision-support.

“We are excited to accelerate support of our pharma, biotech, and academic collaborators through our AI-driven single-cell technologies,” said Dr. Vincent Miller, Executive Chairman of One Biosciences. “The Albany life sciences ecosystem provides access to a strong network of researchers and physicians, making it an ideal location to support our global efforts.”

To support the project, Empire State Development is providing up to $525,000 in performance-based Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits tied to job creation and investment.

“One Biosciences’ decision to establish its first U.S. footprint in Albany is a testament to the strength of New York’s life sciences ecosystem,” noted Hope Knight, President, CEO and Commissioner of Empire State Development. “These investments continue to create opportunities for companies to grow and succeed in the state.”

One Biosciences develops technologies for cancer diagnostics and treatment decision support. The company focuses on single-cell analysis and computational methods to better understand tumor biology.
