Poland-Based Displate Manufacturing Plans Louisville, Kentucky, Operations

05/11/2026
Poland-based metal poster manufacturer Displate Manufacturing plans to establish operations in Louisville, Kentucky. The $9.5 million project is expected to create 79 jobs.

The investment will include the lease of an approximately 60,000-square-foot manufacturing and logistics facility which will increase production capacity, reduce delivery times, and improve logistics flexibility for customers across the U.S. and Canada. Operations are scheduled to begin by 2027.

“Establishing our first U.S. manufacturing operation in Louisville is a defining milestone for Displate and a critical step in our long-term North American expansion,” said Nicholas Holdcraft, CEO of Displate. “Kentucky offers an exceptional combination of manufacturing talent, logistics infrastructure and a business environment that supports scale and innovation.”

To support the project, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved a 10-year incentive agreement under the Kentucky Business Investment program. The performance-based agreement can provide up to $850,000 in tax incentives based on the company’s investment and job creation commitments.

“Kentucky’s unique location, skilled workforce and access to resources make it an ideal location for any company looking to expand its operations,” noted Governor Andy Beshear. “Displate is just the latest overseas company to recognize the value of doing business here in the commonwealth.”

By meeting its annual targets over the agreement term, the company can be eligible to keep a portion of the new tax revenue it generates. The company may claim eligible incentives against its income tax liability and/or wage assessments. In addition, Displate can receive resources from Kentucky’s workforce service providers. Those include no-cost recruitment and job placement services, reduced-cost customized training and job-training incentives.

“Displate’s investment is another example of a company that sees the value of Louisville’s unmatched logistical advantages, talent pool and manufacturing expertise,” added Trevor Pawl, CEO of One Louisville.

Displate Manufacturing produces and distributes metal poster artwork and related display products through e-commerce channels, manufacturing printed metal designs for consumer and licensed entertainment markets. The company’s operations include product design, printing, manufacturing, and global order fulfillment.
