Arrow Sky Media Relocates Headquarters To Orlando, Florida
03/14/2017
The digital tech company will become an anchor tenant in the new Creative Village in downtown Orlando, a 68-acre mixed-use destination with office and creative studios for high tech, digital media companies and programs. Creative Village will also be home to the new University of Central Florida downtown campus in partnership with Valencia College. Arrow Sky Media plans to take up 45,000 to 60,000 square feet in the first office building developed within Creative Village by 2021.
With a focus on social impact, Arrow Sky Media uses a multimedia platform to develop television animation and gaming applications. The company’s work includes a new television series aimed at educating children on environmental sustainability called “Planet Blue.”
“The support for Arrow Sky Media and our animated production Planet Blue has been overwhelming in the City Beautiful. We look forward to relocating to downtown Orlando and expanding our growth over the next few years as we prepare to move into Creative Village,” said Arrow Sky Media Managing Director Victoria Lauren. “I would personally like to thank Mayor Buddy Dyer, the Orlando Economic Partnership, Enterprise Florida, Ken Robinson and Craig Ustler. Their ongoing efforts have made all of this possible and we have felt very welcomed here in Orlando.”
“Arrow Sky Media is a perfect fit for Creative Village. They value the education pipeline delivered by UCF/Valencia Downtown and they are an animation and gaming studio that attracts and retains creative talent here in Orlando,” said Craig Ustler, Principal, Creative Village Development, LLC. “We are excited to help Arrow Sky Media grow and expand.”
The Orlando Economic Partnership worked with the company to provide connections to vital partners including the State of Florida, the City of Orlando, the Community Redevelopment Agency and Enterprise Florida.
“The City of Orlando is home to some of the nation’s top creative professionals in film and digital media,” said Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer. “Arrow Sky Media is a great example of Orlando’s ability to attract companies in this sector because of our talented workforce, dynamic business environment and high quality of life.”
“Arrow Sky Media’s move to Orlando is a great economic development win for our region,” said Crystal Sircy of the Orlando Economic Partnership. “This project secures a new global headquarters in our region and emphasizes the benefits companies are seeing in their decisions to move here based on our outstanding talent, educational system and thriving innovative technologies industry.”
