Aluminum Dynamics Plans Lowndes County, Mississippi, Manufacturing Operations

07/18/2026
Recycled aluminum manufacturer Aluminum Dynamics plans to establish operations in Lowndes County, Mississippi. The $200 million project is expected to create 100 jobs.

The company’s new facility, located at the Golden Triangle Industrial Park, will recycle aluminum-bearing materials into aluminum slabs for the automotive, packaging, and flat-rolled aluminum products industries. Operations are scheduled to begin in the first half of 2027.

“We are eager to move forward with this project, and we appreciate the warm welcome and support that we have received from Governor Tate Reeves and the State of Mississippi, as well as leaders from the Mississippi Development Authority and local leaders from the Lowndes County Board of Supervisors, the Lowndes County Industry Development Authority and the Golden Triangle Development LINK,” said Devin Crawford, Operations Manager for Aluminum Dynamics.

To support the project the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) is providing assistance for direct road and rail infrastructure improvements. The project also qualifies for tax incentives through the Mississippi Major Economic Impact Authority program. Lowndes County is assisting with the project as well.

“There’s no stronger endorsement than a company choosing to reinvest where it has existing operations. Aluminum Dynamics’ latest project shows that we have the workforce, infrastructure and project-ready environment manufacturers rely on to stay competitive. MDA is proud to support another investment that will generate quality jobs and grow Mississippi’s manufacturing economy,” noted Bill Cork, Executive Director of the Mississippi Development Authority.

Aluminum Dynamics, Inc. specializes in recycling aluminum scrap, melting and casting aluminum, and producing slab products for downstream manufacturers.

“Aluminum Dynamics’ planned investment in the Golden Triangle is another example of what’s possible when you have a strong workforce, solid infrastructure and partners who are committed to long-term success. This project creates new opportunities for our communities, and we appreciate Aluminum Dynamics’ confidence in the Golden Triangle,” added Meryl Fisackerly, President and CEO of the Golden Triangle Development LINK.
