Rogers, Minnesota-based Fab Pipe Joins U.S. Pipe To Strengthen Service To Midwest Water Infrastructure Industry

United States Pipe and Foundry Company and U.S. Pipe Fabrication, a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital and Comvest Partners, acquired Rogers, Minnesota-based Fab Pipe, Inc., a fabricator and distributor of ductile iron pipe, fittings and related products. Both companies primarily serve the water infrastructure market.

Fab Pipe, Inc. is a fabricator and distributor of ductile iron pipe, specialty fittings and other parts used in drinking water, wastewater, industrial and OEM applications. Fab Pipe’s President, Ted Muntz, said, “We are excited to be a part of U.S. Pipe, a leader in our industry that shares our values. Both organizations are 100 percent committed to best-in-class delivery, service and quality.”

Based in Birmingham, Alabama, United States Pipe and Foundry Company and U.S. Fabrication, is a manufacturer of a broad line of ductile iron pipe products, fittings and joint restraints used in drinking water and wastewater systems.

U.S. Pipe’s CEO, Paul Ciolino said, “Fab Pipe strengthens U.S. Pipe’s fabrication capabilities in the Midwest and allows us to better serve and grow with our key waterworks distributors.
