The investment will include the construction of a new 270,000-square-foot production facility to serve high-growth sectors, including semiconductors and electrical substations with the precision engineered components needed.
"This project marks another great step in our continued partnership with the State of Michigan,” said Chad Miller, Co-CEO of Miller Industries. “We’re proud to be part of a shared commitment to innovation, job creation, and strengthening Michigan’s manufacturing future."
To support the project the company received a Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant in the amount of $1 million. Additionally, the Flint & Genesee Economic Alliance has offered a staff, financial, or economic commitment to the project in the form of talent recruitment assistance, and timely permit processing. The Charter Township of Fenton has offered a PA 198 for up to 12 years, with an estimated value of $6 million.
“We are delighted by Miller Industries’ announcement to expand operations in Fenton, bringing nearly 170 high-quality jobs to the community,” noted Matt McCauley, Senior Vice President of Regional Development at MEDC. “This investment reflects Miller Industries’ deep commitment to the region and truly exemplifies what it means to be Making it in Michigan. Small businesses remain the backbone of our state’s economy, and the continued growth of companies like Miller Industries underscores the dedication, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit of the people who drive Michigan forward.”
Miller Industries, LLC. is the parent company to Performance Fabricating, Flex Air, Miller Industries Representatives, and MiFarmPod™.
“We are proud that Miller Industries is continuing to invest in Flint & Genesee with its second expansion within three years in Fenton Township,” added Tyler Rossmaessler, Executive Director of Flint & Genesee Economic Alliance. “This new expansion will bring more jobs and investment to our region and help drive us toward our Forward Together vision of becoming a top five county in Michigan by 2040.”
