StratITsphere Selects Katy, Texas, for HQ Relocation, Data Center

StratITsphere, a consulting and services firm that specializes in infrastructure, has selected Katy, Texas, for the site of its new headquarters. The company selected Katy for its, "excellent location with good fiber access, excellent access to the Energy Corridor, and support offered by the Katy Area Economic Development Council," said Stephen Webster, StratITsphere president and CEO.

The company will invest more than $10 million in the relocation and establish a Tier 4 data center. StratITsphere will initially create up to 15 jobs, and ultimately add up to 35 employees total.

StratITsphere serves the energy industry, particularly oil and gas, pipeline, refining, power, utilities, and energy and commodities trading. It has several large energy clients in Houston.
