12/24/2025
Mission Critical Interior Solutions, Inc., a data center solutions contractor and manufacturer, plans to establish operations in Springfield, South Carolina. The $7.4 million project is expected to create 49 jobs in Orangeburg County.

The company’s new facility, located at 1014 Railroad Avenue, will manufacture conveyance systems engineered to integrate with data center buildouts.

“Expanding into South Carolina is an exciting milestone for MCIS. This community reflects the same values that drive our company – hard work, integrity, and a commitment to the American workforce. Our new Springfield operation strengthens our ability to serve customers nationwide while creating opportunities for talented individuals who want to grow with a company that puts people first,” said MCIS Principal and CRO Jason Coe.

To support the project the Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved job development credits.

“We congratulate MCIS on its decision to launch a new manufacturing facility in Orangeburg County. This investment, which brings 49 jobs to the area, shines a light on South Carolina as a leading destination for economic growth and development,” noted Secretary of Commerce Harry M. Lightsey III.

MCIS creates architectural solutions for the data center industry, specializing in the design and installation of containment, raised access flooring, security cages and cabinets, and structural ceiling systems.
