CompuTech City Expands Headquarters In Longwood, Florida
03/20/2017
Located on a two-acre site, the company’s new 10,000-square-foot building is expected to be complete in the fall. The expansion will result in 35 new, high-wage jobs over the next three years and a capital investment of $2,500,000, according to the Orlando Economic Development Commission.
"For 15 years, we have successfully provided medical IT services, this expansion represents just that. CompuTech City’s modern and environmentally friendly headquarters were custom designed with our employees’ feedback and technology needs in mind. Our headquarters are a reality, due to the trust of our clients and the hard work of our team, and for that we are grateful. Happy employees, happy clients," said Saurin Patel, CompuTech City’s CEO. The state-of-the-art facility will feature over 250 solar panels, open concept to maximize natural light, and will incorporate warehouse, workplace and community spaces.
Currently headquartered in Seminole County, CompuTech City specializes in IT services for the medical industry. The company provides managed services, network security, medical billing, cloud/hosting services, HIPAA compliance, EMR support, project management and other IT solutions, to its more than 600 clients.
The Orlando Economic Partnership (EP) worked with the company to provide connections to vital partners including the State of Florida, Seminole County, the City of Longwood and Enterprise Florida.
Longwood Mayor Joe Durso said, "the impact to our community of nearly $4 million in annual economic output and the creation of over 50 permanent jobs in STEM careers cannot be understated. We look forward to working with the CompuTech City team as they continue to grow in the coming years."
"We are excited to keep this homegrown company in our region," said Crystal Sircy, Orlando Economic Partnership Executive Vice President. "CompuTech City is a great example of the success companies can find in the Orlando region because of the variety of real estate options, business-friendly climate and talented tech workforce."
