Vaughn Industries Expands Carey, Ohio, Manufacturing Operations

Vaughn Industries, a contractor providing electrical, mechanical, high voltage, technology and renewable energy services, plans to expand its operations in Carey, Ohio. The approximately $18.5 million project is expected to create 126 jobs.

The investment will include the construction of a new 120,000 square-foot manufacturing facility which will bring together the company’s Virtual Design and Construction and fabrication processes. Operations are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026.

“We have outgrown our current facilities and need to expand our manufacturing facilities to maintain our current business as well as the future growth of our company,” said John Barnes, business development manager at Vaughn Industries. “The open layout of the new manufacturing facility is critical to ensure efficiency and logistics in all of our fabrication processes.”

The project is being supported by a 1.531 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit approved by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority.
