S&A Industries Expands Manufacturing Plant in New Albany, Mississippi
08/02/2017
S&A Industries supplies molded automotive ducting and noise vibration damping products to Toyota, GM and major Tier 1 automotive suppliers. The company is building a new 52,500-square-foot manufacturing facility in the Glendale Industrial Park. The move allows the company to merge its two existing New Albany facilities and accommodate new manufacturing operations. The new manufacturing operations will begin in 2018.
“S&A Corporation truly appreciates the efforts of Mississippi Development Authority and the Union County members who worked diligently with our S&A management team to design a plan that is favorable to both S&A and the local communities,” S&A President & General Manager Greg Anderson.
The Mississippi Development Authority is providing assistance for infrastructure improvements and relocation costs, as well as a loan to the county for the construction of the facility. Union County is also providing incentive assistance.
“The addition of 40 new jobs by S&A Industries in New Albany is a testament to the hard working people of Union County and demonstrates Mississippi’s business climate allows companies in the automotive industry to thrive and enjoy long-term success,” Governor Phil Bryant said.
“MDA is proud to partner with S&A Industries as the company grows, creating new careers for Mississippians in Union County,” said MDA Executive Director Glenn McCullough, Jr.
