E.C. Manufacturing Invests More Than $6 Million To Open Shawnee, Kansas, Production Facility
01/10/2013
“It’s always exciting to see new businesses open their doors, and it’s even more exciting when they choose to do so in Kansas,” said Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George. “E.C. Manufacturing will create a lot of new jobs in the state, helping the continued growth of the Kansas economy.” Company officials were not immediately available for comment.
“Shawnee is pleased to welcome E.C. Manufacturing to our business community,” said Mayor Jeff Meyers. “Shawnee continues to exhibit the business environment, skilled workforce, and quality public infrastructure and resources that enable advanced manufacturing companies to thrive.”
“It's great to begin the year with a significant number of advanced manufacturing jobs completely new to our region, as well as seeing those jobs here and not overseas,” said Bob Marcusse, president and CEO, Kansas City Area Development Council. “We congratulate E.C Manufacturing, the city of Shawnee and the state of Kansas on this good news.”
