Pet Products Manufacturer Adding 33 Jobs in TN Thanks to $1.4 Million Plant Expansion

Ware Manufacturing Inc. announces it will invest $1.4 million to expand its Hawkins County manufacturing plant in Surgoinsville,Tennessee, and add about 33 new jobs to that workforce.

The pet-focused company manufactures products for dogs, cats, small animals and birds. Its customers include major retailers such as PetSmart, Petco and Tractor Supply.

Currently plans call for Ware to add 42,500 square feet of space to its existing 107,000-sq.-ft. facility located at the Phipps Bend Industrial Park.

Lynn Lawson, a Hawkins County industrial developer, said the project will give the company more manufacturing and inventory space to support current and future growth.

In addition to the Phipps Bend plant, Ware operates another manufacturing plant and distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona, its headquarters city.
