Arvato Expands Louisville, Kentucky, Distribution-Fulfillment Operations

10/12/2026
Supply chain management and logistics company Arvato has expanded operations in Louisville, Kentucky. The project is expected to create 150 jobs in Jefferson County.

The company’s new approximately 400,000-square-foot distribution and fulfillment facility will provide late order cut-off times that can support faster direct-to-consumer deliveries and time-sensitive shipments, including spare parts and critical equipment.

“Flexibility is often what our customers need most,” said Arvato Managing Director of North America and Brazil Andreas Podwojewski. “They are looking for partners that can support their growth ambitions across North America while helping them navigate increasingly complex supply chain requirements. As we expand our Louisville footprint to seven facilities, we are further strengthening our network and creating the scalability, flexibility and operational excellence our clients need to succeed in a dynamic market environment.”

Arvato is a third-party logistics provider specializing in supply chain management, e-commerce fulfillment, warehousing and distribution services. The company develops and operates logistics solutions for customers in the consumer products, healthcare, technology and automotive industries.

“Kentucky’s thriving distribution and logistics sector has played a critical role in our state’s continued economic momentum,” noted Governor Andy Beshear. “We continually see quality companies like Arvato expanding and reinvesting in their communities, and that is a recipe for long-term economic success. The 150 new jobs created from this expansion will provide new opportunities for Kentuckians to earn a paycheck and provide for their families. I want to thank the company’s leaders for believing in what the commonwealth has to offer and look forward to their future success in Louisville.”

“Congratulations to Arvato on the grand opening of their new fulfillment center in Jefferson County. Arvato continues to be a major player in Louisville’s globally recognized success in logistics, and we are thrilled to see their business continue to grow through their investment in our region,” added One Louisville CEO Trevor Pawl.
