VMC Locates Facility, 600 Jobs at Brooks City-Base, San Antonio, Texas

VMC, a technology and outsourcing consultant, has selected San Antonio, Texas's Brooks City-Base for a new customer care and technical support center. The company expects to begin hiring next month.

"We are excited about the opportunities San Antonio presents to help build our business and support VMC clients," said Kristin Carrico, VMC COO. "The city has a strong work force and Brooks City-Base provides a great location from which to deliver solutions to our clients. After careful and deliberate evaluation of many U.S.-based markets, we believe that San Antonio offers the right people, infrastructure, facilities, and civic and business environment to create a competitive advantage for our clients and our company."

VMC plans to hire 100 employees monthly until it reaches a hiring goal of 600 workers. The positions include Tier 1 support agents, quality assurance agents, and supervisors.
