Moriroku Technology North America To Build R&D Center In Marysville, Ohio
12/02/2013
The new facility, which will be located at 15055 Industrial Parkway in Marysville, will replace Moriroku’s current facility on Allenby Drive. The proposed site will house the company’s R&D center, including quality assurance testing and design, and expand its existing sales and purchasing operations.
“Our current facility in Marysville has provided a strategic location for growth, mainly because of proximity to key automotive customers,” said Doug Spohn, Moriroku Technology North America. “Because of this, the decision to build a new R&D facility and expand the company’s current operations in the same location was an easy one.”
“We are honored that Moriroku Technology North America chose both to keep its current operations in Marysville and to build a new facility to accommodate its R&D center and future growth,” said Marysville Mayor John Gore. “The Region, and especially Marysville and Union County, has proven to be a strong location for companies in the automotive and research and development sectors.”
“Moriroku Technology North America’s growth is a testament to Ohio's excellence in manufacturing and the thriving environment the Columbus Region is able to provide companies – particularly those seeking access to key automotive customers,” said John Minor, President and Chief Investment Officer, JobsOhio. “We welcome this great addition to our existing robust supply-chain infrastructure and look forward to helping build a long-term relationship between Moriroku Technology and Ohio."
