Vonage Holdings Corp. Plans Tech Center Of Excellence In Holmdel, New Jersey
12/07/2015
"We're excited about our ambitious plans to modernize our campus," said Vonage CEO Alan Masarek. "We will continue to improve our facility and create a technology center of excellence befitting of the leader in cloud communications."
Vonage's campus is situated on 88 acres and is home to the Company's flagship Network Operations Center. Officials said the company will be making additional investments to modernize its campus and build a state-of-the-art training facility where it will onboard all new employees, regardless of where they will be based, as well as train employees, sales associates, partners and prospective customers on its latest technology and unified communications solutions.
The Company will remain in Holmdel because of its proximity to New York City, just an hour away, which makes it an attractive location for talented employees, officials noted. Approximately 700 Vonage employees are based in New Jersey, along with the majority of its senior management team. The Company is actively recruiting for all areas of the organization.
"Vonage now has offices across the nation and internationally, but Holmdel has been our home for the last decade, and we are very committed to this town and its surrounding communities," said Mr. Masarek. "We are a rapidly growing company, and this facility will allow us to continue to expand right here in New Jersey. We're transforming our Company inside and out as we work toward making Vonage a destination place to work."
"Vonage made a smart choice 14 years ago when it chose to start its business here in New Jersey, and we are delighted that the company has committed to keeping its corporate headquarters in Holmdel," said Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno. "The company's presence in Central New Jersey is clear; Vonage has brought hundreds of jobs and a history of technology innovation to the area. We're looking forward to working together with them for many years to come."
