Advance Auto Parts to Invest $8 million in VA Customer Center & Create 75 Jobs

Headquartered in Roanoke, AAP is a leading U.S. automotive aftermarket retailer of parts, accessories, batteries and maintenance items. As of last October, the Fortune 500 company operated 3,645 stores in 39 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. President and CEO Darren Jackson said that over the last few years, AAP has invested over $10 million in Roanoke's store support center. "This new team will be part of our over 1,600 team member base in Roanoke," he explained, "and is an integral part of our goal to grow [AAP].."
The company is eligible to receive benefits from the Virginia Enterprise Zone Program. It also will be given state funding and services to support its recruitment and training activities.
