Kellogg Canada Investing $43M in Belleville, Ontario, Cereal Plant
04/11/2011
"We're pleased to have the opportunity to grow our investment, our business, and our commitment to Ontario. We hope to be able to move quickly to create the proposed manufacturing and distribution jobs in Belleville, which would be great news for our company, as well as the community," said Carol Stewart, president of Kellogg Canada.
Kellogg will receive $4.5 million from the provincial government to support the expansion. Food processing is the second-largest manufacturing industry in Ontario, following automotive production.
The Belleville facility produces Kellogg's Mini-Wheats cereal.
