05/21/2013
Sony/ATV will occupy three full floors at the Fifth Third Center and is set to move to the building before the end of the year. The long-term presence of Sony/ATV’s creative offices on historic Music Row, located at 8 Music Square West, will not be affected by this move.
“We are thrilled to have found such accessible and functional office space in downtown Nashville’s beautiful Fifth Third Center. Our new offices will provide us the necessary room to expand, while still being part of Music City,” Chairman & CEO of Sony/ATV Music Publishing Martin Bandier said. “We’re particularly grateful to the incredible support from Nashville Mayor Karl Dean, the Department of Economic and Community Development and Governor Bill Haslam for helping us to continue to make Nashville, Tennessee Sony/ATV’s global administration hub.”
“Tennessee’s diverse economy and world-renowned reputation in the music industry helps our state stand out among the competition,” Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty said. “Sony/ATV’s decision to expand in the heart of Nashville highlights Tennessee’s great strength as a center of creative excellence in the music industry and provides valuable jobs to our high quality workforce. I want to thank Marty Bandier and everyone at Sony/ATV for their continued investment in Nashville.”
“We are excited that Sony/ATV is expanding their footprint here in Nashville,” President and CEO of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce Ralph Schulz said, “As a key member of Nashville’s incredibly diverse music and entertainment industry, Sony/ATV’s expansion continues to make our city a creative core for the region and the country.”
