Garonit Pharmaceutical Plans Flanders, New Jersey, Operations

Pharmaceutical manufacturer Garonit Pharmaceutical plans to establish operations in Flanders, New Jersey. The more than $200 million project is expected to create up to 1,000 jobs over the next five years.

The investment will include the acquisition of the former Siemens Healthineers facility, a 320,000-square-foot campus on 32 acres that will support finished dosage manufacturing and provide alternate active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production capacity.

“This acquisition represents a major step forward in our mission to build a robust U.S.-based pharmaceutical manufacturing platform,” said Nitin Garg and Rohit Garg, shareholders of Garonit Pharmaceutical. “This investment expands our operational footprint while reinforcing our commitment to domestic manufacturing, supply chain reliability, and long-term growth.”

Garonit Pharmaceutical is a manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and finished dosage products. The company’s vertically integrated manufacturing model provides end-to-end capabilities from pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs through finished dosage products, with a focus on infection prevention solutions, including chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG)-based formulations and pharmaceutical antiseptics.
