Legora Expands New York City Operations

Legal technology company Legora plans to expand its operations in New York City. The project is expected to create more than 550 jobs.

The company’s new 98,420-square-foot office, located at 11 Madison Avenue, will serve as its North American hub and support engineering, legal engineering, product development, and corporate operations.

“With more than 1,500 law firm and corporate customers across 50 markets globally, this office will allow us to expand our presence and provide best-in-class support to our growing customer base,” said David Eckstein, Chief Financial Officer of Legora.

To support the project Empire State Development is providing up to $10.5 million in performance-based Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits tied to the company's job creation and research and development commitments.

Legora is a legal technology company that develops an AI-powered platform for legal research, drafting, document review, knowledge management, and workflow automation for law firms and corporate legal departments.
