The Pump & Motor Works Expands Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Manufacturing Operations

The Pump & Motor Works, a manufacturer of large electric motors and pumps, plans to expand its manufacturing operations in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. The $2.8 million project is expected to create up to 18 jobs.

The investment will include the addition of long-term storage buildings and increased manufacturing floor space.

¨We´ve always taken a creative approach to problem solving, which has given us a significant advantage over the years,” said Sergio Andre, Jr., president of The Pump & Motor Works. “By using new technology with our traditional methods, we will help keep our customers’ trust and stay ahead of the competition.”

To support the project the company was awarded $400,000 through the Business Expansion Incentive Program.

The Pump & Motor Works Inc. is an engineering, manufacturing and test facility specializing in the production, distribution and refurbishment of large industrial electric motors.
