Great Dane Creating 400 Jobs at New Trailer Factory in Statesboro, Georgia
08/17/2010
"After more than a year-long search for the ideal location, we are extremely pleased to announce that Statesboro, Georgia, has been chosen as the future home of our new refrigerated trailer plant. While many different sites throughout the Southeast region were considered, we believe the Statesboro location best meets our strategic and corporate needs," said Phil Pines, president and COO of Great Dane.
Great Dane was founded more than 100 years ago in Savannah, but closed its original plant nearly two years. The new facility will serve the company's Southeast client base. The factory is expected to be operational by 2012.
