08/23/2010
Toyota began hiring for 40 positions a few weeks ago, and will eventually create 2,000 jobs in Blue Springs, according to Sally Stackhouse Williams of the Mississippi Development Authority.
The company announced that it would re-start construction of the facility in June. It is expected to produce 100,000 vehicles annually. After the fall 2011 production cycle, nearly all Corollas sold in the United States will have been built in North America.
