TPI Composites to Build Fall River, Massachusetts Wind Turbine Facility
08/24/2010
"The potential benefit for Fall River is we've attracted a global leader in wind blades and wind turbines," said Fall River Mayor Will Flanagan. "As the demand for the products increases, hopefully we'll see a direct impact of job creation in the city."
The project will be officially announced at a press conference scheduled for tomorrow. Details on federal and state tax incentives are expected to be mentioned, as the project could support the Cape Wind off-shore wind farm proposal.
The Fall River site will support TPI facilities in Taicang, China; Ciudad Juarez, Mexico; Newton, Iowa; and Warren.
