09/18/2013
The company said it plans to install a new state of the art, high speed pick and robotic manufacturing line. Utilizing Sx Series placement machines from ASM, the line will be capable of placing 01005 sized components with placement speeds of up to 120,000 components per hour.
Jonathan Sawyer, CEO of XetaWave said, "While our competitors are following a trend to use outsourced, non-US built radios, we strongly believe manufacturing in house will allow XetaWave to produce radios which have the best quality, best performance, and the best price in the industry."
Founded in 2010 by Jonathan Sawyer and Robert Campbell, XetaWave is developing advanced, high-performing, cost-effective platform of software designed radios across multiple bands to meet the application needs of industries, such as; oil and gas, water and wastewater, electric power, and the military. The firm said it received a $7 Million investment from several investors to fund its current and future growth in the development of the industry's most advanced, cost effective platform of software defined radios for industrial and military applications.
