Wisconsin Helps Wausaukee Composites Expand in Cuba City

09/23/2010
Wausaukee Composites, a producer of composite components for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), will receive more than $1.5 million from the Wisconsin Commerce Department's Community Development Block Grant for Economic Development program towards an expansion.

"My top priority this year has been to help move companies and communities forward and create good-paying jobs for our citizens," said Governor Jim Doyle. "I'm pleased that we could help Wausaukee Composites expand its business and bring these new jobs to Grant County."

The company will create 200 jobs in Cuba City, Wisconsin, and invest more than $5 million to build wind turbine components. Wausaukee will use the funds to build and equip an addition to its existing facility.
