GAF Materials Corporation Reopening Gainesville, Texas, Facility
09/24/2010
"We are taking this action in response to increased demand for our high quality single-ply membranes," said Bob Tafaro, president and CEO of GAF. "Customer satisfaction is paramount to our business and reopening this facility will allow us to improve our customer support as the economy recovers."
Since the Gainesville plant temporarily closed, a GAF facility in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, has produced the products. The Gainesville site will produce goods for mostly the western and southern markets.
The Gainesville facility is the largest of its kind in North America producing only TPO-based single-ply membrane roofing products.
