KCST Creating 50 Jobs at Auto Manufacturing Plant in Tarboro, North Carolina

Keihin Carolina System Technology (KCST) is investing more than $13 million and creating 50 new jobs in Tarboro, North Carolina. The company produces Engine Control units and electronics assemblies for Honda, Acura, and Honda Power Sports vehicles.

"KCST is excited about our growth throughout this year and the addition to our work force. The exceptional capabilities and dedication of our associates allows us to continue to be successful through these challenging economic times," said Chris Eckhardt, KCST vice president.

KCST has been located in Tarboro since 1997. It currently has 370 employees. The company is owned by a Japanese firm that has seven locations across North America.
