Verizon Wireless Adds 100 Jobs in North Carolina

04/01/2010
Verizon Wireless announced today that it will hire 100 full-time customer service representatives at its Matthews, North Carolina call center by the end of the year. The employees will respond to billing and technical questions, handle price-plan changes, and provide customer support.

"We have the room to grow here in our Matthews call center, and we are looking for people who are passionate about serving customers, love technology, and like to work in a fast-paced environment," said Chris Arnold, Verizon call center director.

The Matthews facility has already added 48 employees since the fourth quarter.
