Envirosight Expands with St. Paul, Minnesota, Manufacturing Plant
08/15/2017
According to company officials, “going forward, MyTana will continue providing its plumber customers with the professional-grade tools they depend on to stay productive and profitable, while leveraging Envirosight’s expertise to expand its channels to market, diversify its marketing communications, and evolve the technology platform for its inspection products.”
“At Envirosight, we’ve been fortunate to enjoy exceptional organic growth since our inception 15 years ago,” says Richard Lindner, President of Envirosight. “With revenue increasing more than 20% annually in recent years, we now have the means to fund additional expansion through acquisition of companies in kindred markets, ones that share our commitment to innovation and market-leading service and support.”
“The fit and timing couldn’t have been better; MyTana’s fundamentals were extremely solid, so we pushed to complete this deal in under four months,” he added.
Headquartered in Randolph, New Jersey, Envirosight has built the world’s leading brands for sewer inspection crawlers, zoom survey cameras and video nozzles, tools cities depend on to understand their sewer infrastructure. The company also maintains the industry’s most extensive service and support network, with more than 20 locations in North America alone.
“MyTana had several suitors, but Envirosight was the clear choice for us,” says Jock Donaldson, President of MyTana. “They’re a company that started with a simple vision and succeeded through hard work, attention to detail, and a commitment to delighting customers. They also understand that relentless growth is the key to capturing the market, size simply gives you the resources to accomplish greater things. I’m excited to watch MyTana grow with the benefit of Envirosight’s expertise and investment.”
MyTana joins Pipeline Renewal Technologies, a supplier of sewer rehab technologies to municipal contractors, in the growing family of Envirosight companies. Although Donaldson will be retiring from his role as president by end of year, MyTana General Manager Dale Graber will stay on with the company, and will join the Envirosight management team. “Continuity of the MyTana brand, facilities, products and customer service standards will be a point of emphasis throughout the transition,” officials explained.
