2022 Gold & Silver Shovel Awards Project of the Year: Regeneron Expanding Research, Manufacturing in New York

The company’s response to COVID-19 is widely known, and it is building out its R&D and manufacturing in Tarrytown, N.Y.

Q2 2022
Biotech firm Regeneron became pretty much a household name nationally during the COVID-19 pandemic, thanks to its groundbreaking antibody treatments. It’s definitely a household name in Tarrytown, New York, where the company announced plans to invest a billion and a half dollars and create a thousand jobs expanding its research, manufacturing, and support facilities.

The project will take a few years to build out and will include as many as eight buildings and related infrastructure. Regeneron plans to add preclinical manufacturing space and process development suites, labs, and office space.
