12/15/2016
The company moved into 51,000 square feet of space at 14055 Riveredge Drive, Suite 600 in Tampa, with expectations of investing up to $4.5 million in the new headquarters facility. The new jobs will fill a variety of roles including clinical care coordinators, product developers, human resources, information technology and administration.
“As a company that believes Tampa Bay is a growing hub for healthcare and technology services and an ideal place to live, work, and play, the decision to continue our expansion plans in beautiful Hidden River Corporate Park was an easy one,” said Travis Bond, CEO & Founder of CareSync. “Over the years, we have been very fortunate, growing to become the largest national provider of care coordination for Medicare’s chronic care management program. We are excited to share the next chapter of our success with current and future employees of CareSync.”
“Tampa offers everything fast-growing startups like CareSync need to succeed,” said Mayor Bob Buckhorn, City of Tampa. “Our quality of life and robust economy are attracting more companies, talent and capital to the area, making this city the most desirable location for business in the Southeast.”
“Companies like CareSync are helping Hillsborough County gain a national reputation as a place where innovative health care and IT businesses can thrive,” said the Hon. Stacey White, Chairman of the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners. “We are confident that CareSync will find the diversely skilled talent it needs to grow quickly by tapping into our local workforce and recruiting outstanding graduates from our colleges and universities.”
As an incentive, Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation assisted CareSync with connections to CareerSource Tampa Bay for workforce and training grant opportunities and to the University of South Florida, Hillsborough Community College and the University of Tampa for recruiting assistance.
“CareSync is at the forefront of exciting new technology-enabled care for millions of Americans who are managing chronic illnesses,” said Ken Atwater, Ph.D., Chair of the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation and President of Hillsborough Community College. “It is precisely the kind of innovative, fast-growing, entrepreneurial company that we are working hard to cultivate and attract to Tampa and Hillsborough County. We welcome the CareSync team, and look forward to providing them with the support they need to succeed in this market.”
