Expansion of Logistics Firm to Create 140 Jobs in Ft. Worth, Texas
02/08/2012
The company is a transportation and logistics provider offering solutions through four divisions. It serves a "blue-chip" customer base and operates primarily in the southwest, south-central and southeastern regions of the United States.
LinkAmerica predicts its new 24,000-sq.-ft. corporate office and training center in CentrePort Business Park will open around March of this year.
The firm's Tulsa office will remain open to house its logistics team and facilitate back-office support functions.
LinkAmerica CEO John Simone said since the Dallas/Fort Worth area is one of the largest logistics hubs in the nation, "LinkAmerica must have a presence in this market in order to enhance our position in the industry."
He also noted that close proximity to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (the world's fourth-busiest airport) and immediate access to major interstates support the company's long-term strategic growth plan.
In addition to its many other transportation assets, LinkAmerica selected Fort Worth because of its "substantial" workforce to draw upon for to fill positions for drivers, administrative staff and senior management team members.
