CSRA Establishes Customer Engagement Center In Bossier City, Louisiana

07/05/2016
CSRA, a company that delivers a broad range of innovative, cloud-enabled, next-generation IT solutions and professional services, will establish a Customer Engagement Center in Bossier City, Louisiana. The company plans to create 300 jobs.

The Customer Engagement Center will be located in the Capital One Building at 301 Benton Road in Bossier City. CSRA plans to hire 150 positions within the first year, occupying the first floor of the office. The company will extend customer service operations into the second floor of the Capital One Building in mid-2017 and reach employment of 300 positions within 24 months.

CSRA was formed through the combination of CSC’s North American Public Sector business and SRA International in November 2015. Also in Bossier City, the CSRA Integrated Technology Center – a new 96,000-square-foot facility announced by CSC in February 2014 – will open in late 2016 at the National Cyber Research Park. The ITC project will create an additional 800 new direct jobs.

“When we first decided to establish roots in Bossier City several years ago, we saw it as an opportunity to influence, equip and prepare the upcoming workforce of next-generation IT professionals,” said Chief Information Officer John Dancy of CSRA. “The return on investment in Bossier City has been immeasurable. Our employees there are working hard every day to solve our customers’ toughest challenges. We have also developed really solid partnerships with prominent local organizations and educational institutions, like the Greater Bossier Economic Development Foundation and Bossier Parish Community College, who were critical to our success as we considered expanding our workforce by 300 additional employees. We remain committed to bringing jobs and economic growth to Bossier City and we’re eager to continue building brilliant teams who will help us lead our federal government customers into their digital futures.”

“CSRA is a prime example of a major IT company that truly understand the benefits of investing in Louisiana,” Governor John Bel Edwards said. “With the completion of its Integrated Technology Center in Bossier City scheduled for later this year, the company already has established roots and has been operating for two years in temporary space in the research park’s Cyber Innovation Center. The confidence that CSRA has expressed in our state is a testament to companies around the country and around the world that Louisiana represents a prime location for new and expanding technology investments.”

“We are delighted that our growing partnership with CSRA has resulted in Bossier City being chosen as the new location for their Customer Engagement Center,” said Bossier City Mayor Lo Walker. “This investment in Bossier City represents an opportunity for 120 jobs immediately and up to 300 jobs over the next 24 months. As their ITC facility nears completion in the National Cyber Research Park, and with this announcement to retrofit the former Capital One Building in Bossier, CSRA has placed their stamp of approval saying that Bossier means business, and we welcome them in our community.”
