Commercial Printer Expanding Facilities in Indianapolis

01/16/2009
SPG Graphics, a provider of commercial mailing, printing, and fulfillment services, will invest $7 million to upgrade its printing and logistics operation in Indianapolis, Indiana, according to the Indiana governor's office. The project is expected to create 30 new jobs. "We are excited about the opportunity to create good jobs while offering our customers new products and services," says Bob Poorman, SPG Graphics' vice president. "We are grateful to the state of Indiana and the city of Indianapolis for helping make this expansion a reality." The company has been offered up to $115,000 in performance-based tax credits and up to $138,500 in training grants from the state, contingent on job creation. The city will also support property tax abatement.
