Ranger Boats Creating 115 Jobs in Flippin, Arkansas

Ranger Boats, a maker of fiberglass fishing boats, is investing $13 million and creating more than 115 jobs at its Flippin, Arkansas, facility, according to Fort Smith's City Wire. The company will invest in retooling and expanding the facility.

"We're very fortunate to have a world-class manufacturing facility that's home to such wonderful employees and some of the industry's strongest brands," said Randy Hopper, president of Fishing Holdings, which owns Ranger Boats.

The company recently added production of Stratos Boats to the Flippin facility. Forrest L. Wood, a native of Flippin, founded Ranger Boats in 1968.
