TEKsystems Expands Tempe, Arizona, Service Center
10/26/2018
The company secured an additional 24,000 square feet of office space at its West Coast corporate campus in Tempe for its TEKsystems Delivery Center. The expansion will facilitate further growth and opportunity for organizations seeking to take advantage of the resources of a global delivery organization with the experienced insights of a local partner.
"We are strategically located in Arizona to take full advantage of all the resources the state has to offer. The expansion of our Tempe facility will bring hundreds of technical and non-technical jobs to the community," says Pete Clavell, TEKsystems Regional Director of Recruiting.
"Access to skilled talent is a top factor in any company's decision about where to grow its operations, and this expansion announcement by TEKsystems demonstrates the strength and quality of Arizona's labor force," said Arizona Governor Doug Ducey. "We thank TEKsystems for continuing to invest in Arizona and create new opportunities for our citizens."
TEKsystems helps realize the technology visions for businesses in the region and those with a national footprint. The company currently employs over 1,100 people in the greater Phoenix and Tucson areas.
With new investments in real-estate and partnerships with outstanding local organizations such as ARIZONA@WORK, the Arizona Corporate Council on Veteran's Careers, and the Arizona Commerce Authority, TEKsystems continues to develop successful strategies for the region's leading technology initiatives across multiple industries.
"TEKsystems' mission is to guide Arizona businesses in their technology transformation strategy and implementation, as well as work in parallel with the Arizona Commerce Authority to recruit and grow out-of-state businesses' presence in Arizona," says Denny Sikkila, TEKsystems Area Director for the Desert District, and a local Arizona resident. "We have a proven track record of partnering with businesses to help achieve their technology goals, and that takes the right people for the right jobs. We know this is a prime area for top IT talent to find jobs in the technologies that will enable technology transformation for businesses here."
"In an increasingly connected world, IT companies are providing services to customers everywhere," said Sandra Watson, President & CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. "However even in this age of global connectivity, place still matters, and this announcement shows that Arizona provides industry leaders like TEKsystems the strategic location and top talent they're seeking."
