Technology Recovery Group Relocates Warehouse-Distribution Facility In Westlake, Ohio
11/15/2016
"This new warehouse space is a tremendous step for TRG," says VP of Operations and Retail Services, Dave Foyer. "Our retail operations division has grown so rapidly in 2016 that we've completely run out of space for retail packing, staging and rollouts. This new expansion will allow us to fulfill all of our customers' needs more quickly, and it provides us with the option to expand in the future."
The All Pro Freight warehouse, site of the former Bonne Bell cosmetic company headquarters, allows for ample expansion when TRG's current 85,000 sq ft headquarters needs additional space. Dozens of employees will handle barcode scanners, printers, RFID equipment, cash registers, and other point-of-sale devices from assembly through staging to configuration and deployment to retail stores.
TRG was already planning the construction of a 30,000 sq ft office on Lake Road in Rocky River, OH but customer growth has outpaced construction, according to company officials. Although the new building was originally slated for late 2017, plans have accelerated to complete the new remote office. So far, no set date for completion has been finalized.
The current business headquarters that TRG moved into just over two years ago was originally intended to last at least 10 years. However, large scale retail chain accounts have required additional employees, warehouse space, and a larger footprint to complete tasks. TRG has seen a 30% growth rate for the past 10 years, the leading hardware solutions provider in the mobile computing and barcode printing industry said.
