Filtration Group Expands Two Facilities In York County, South Carolina
12/01/2014
Filtration Group is expanding its operations by purchasing the existing facility it occupies at 1200 Filbert Highway in York, South Carolina. Ownership of this entire facility will provide the additional space needed to grow the business. By increasing the productivity of the operations, this expansion will allow Filtration Group to better serve the growing needs of its customers.
“We are very excited to make this investment in the York community. The high quality workforce and strong community support make York a great home for our manufacturing operations in this region,” said Filtration Group Corporation Chief Financial Officer Tim McCarty.
As an incentive, Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved a $150,000 Economic Development Set Aside grant for the project.
“All job announcements are good news for our state but expansions especially are, because it shows that we have the workforce and business environment that companies need to grow and succeed. Filtration Group is a great South Carolina company that we are proud of, and we congratulate them on this $1.5 million investment that will bring 11 more jobs to York County,” said Governor Nikki Haley.
