According to company officials, the company provides access to fresh, purified drinking water to tens of millions of people daily, across North America and the world. This project will create up to 164 new jobs and more than $1.6 million in capital investment.
"Waterlogic is a leading global designer, manufacturer, distributor and service provider of purified drinking water dispensers, and we are excited to announce the expansion of our manufacturing from China into a new state-of-the-art facility in Grapevine, Texas,” said Casey Taylor, CEO of Waterlogic Americas.
“ The new facility will enhance our customer experience by providing domestic expertise, better responsiveness, and additional capacity to our customers in North America. Our team carefully evaluated a number of potential sites throughout the U.S. and was most impressed with the overwhelming advantages associated with Texas, Tarrant County, and the City of Grapevine. We are looking forward to becoming part of the DFW community and benefiting from its numerous amenities and resources," Taylor added.
A Texas Enterprise Fund grant of $524,400 has been extended to Waterlogic USA, Inc.
”The Texas economy continues to grow and become more diversified thanks to companies like Waterlogic,” said Governor Greg Abbott. “This latest investment is a testament to the free-market policies that have made Texas the best state in the nation for economic opportunity. I am grateful for Waterlogic’s investment and will continue to work to bring more jobs and greater prosperity to the Lone Star State."
"Grapevine is extremely pleased to welcome Waterlogic to our community. As a world class firm, Waterlogic complements our current economic base and will make important ongoing contributions to the DFW region and state of Texas tech sector," said Bob Farley, Director of Economic Development for the City of Grapevine.
