Vertex Intelligence Expands Zionsville, Indiana, Workforce

The company will invest nearly $270,000 to grow its team and expand its operations and services in order to accommodate increasing demand for its professional services and cloud based data analysis products. The company is leasing space at zWORKS coworking center and is exploring its future location options in Zionsville. Vertex Intelligence, which currently employs five associates in Indiana, is actively hiring for machine learning, sales and operations roles.
“Indiana has a strong and highly diversified economy filled with the types of companies that stand to benefit the most from AI technology and who recognize the value of innovation," said Tyler Foxworthy, CEO of Vertex Intelligence.
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Vertex Intelligence Services LLC up to $650,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $50,000 in conditional training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning the company is eligible to claim incentives once Hoosiers are hired. The Boone County Economic Development Corporation worked in support of this project.

Founded in 2018 by Foxworthy, a data scientist, Vertex Intelligence has helped some of the world’s top companies and institutions like the U.S. Department of Defense and local firms like medical device quality management software company Greenlight Guru design, build and ship AI products and solutions. The company provides services like custom algorithm development, data and AI strategy, statistical modeling and cloud-based data analysis solutions.
