Sheboygan Paper Begins Expansion In Sheboygan, Wisconsin

Earlier, Sheboygan City Plan Commission approved a conditional use permit for Sheboygan Paper Box to construct a new 30,000 square foot building addition to the north side of their existing plant.
Sheboygan Paper Box is an independent manufacturer of value-added folding cartons primarily for food and paper product industries located throughout the Midwest. According to the Planning Commission, the estimated project cost is $8.3 million and will be used for warehousing, light manufacturing and enlarged receiving area.
Sheboygan Paper Box, which plans to hire 30 additional associates, currently employs 93 full-time employees, with a mix of entry level, semi-skilled, and highly skilled positions.
"This is absolutely amazing to have an almost 100-year-old firm growing in your own backyard," Dane Checolinski, Director of Sheboygan County EDC, said. He added economic growth requires more than just persuading new firms to come to town. “It's incremental growth, side by side with existing firms, to produce results."
