Kentucky Chrome Works Will Create 80 Jobs in Hart County

Kentucky Chrome Works announced today that it will open a new, 50,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Horse Cave, Kentucky. The company, which produces decorative chrome plating and metal finishings for the automotive and appliance industries, will create 80 jobs and invest $2.6 million in the state.

"We are looking forward to being part of the Horse Cave, Hart County community, initially employing 45 local people and growing to 80 within two years," said Raymond A. Carcione, owner and president of Kentucky Chrome Works. "We also plan to use local companies for support and will be a good, environmentally friendly neighbor and employer."

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority has preliminarily approved Kentucky Chrome Works for up to $750,000 in tax incentives through the Kentucky Industrial Development Act. The Department for Local Government also approved a $780,660 Community Development Block Grant for Kentucky Chrome Works through the Hart County Industrial Authority. The company plans to use the funds to purchase equipment.
