04/27/2023
Located on 148 acres, the new 440,000-square-foot facility will address the growing demand for higher quality, reliable roofing materials, such as Atlas shingles featuring Core4 technology for protection against damaging wind and hail, according to company officials.
“We are thrilled to announce that we will be working together with the great people of Clinton, Iowa, to continue our growth in the steep slope roofing category,” said Ken Farrish, president of Atlas Roofing Corporation. “Clinton will help us meet customer demand with this investment in capacity in the Midwest, but we are equally excited to bring more than 100 new full-time jobs to the region.”
The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) Board has awarded tax benefits and a $750,000 forgivable loan through the High Quality Jobs program.
“We are proud to partner with Grow Clinton and the City of Clinton in welcoming Atlas Roofing to the community,” noted May Farlinger, vice president customer and community engagement, Alliant Energy. “We are thrilled to see our recent investment in the Lincolnway Rail and Air Park is proving to be an economic asset to the community. We look forward to providing energy solutions to Atlas Roofing and will continue to work with our economic development partners to build stronger communities.”
Atlas Roofing Corporation is an innovative, customer-oriented manufacturer of residential and commercial building materials. The company has grown from a single shingle-manufacturing plant into an industry leader with 24 facilities across North America.
