C&A Tool Engineering Invests $8M in Churubusco, Indiana
04/07/2011
The company is expanding due to new business in the jet engine, power generation, and industrial market sectors. It will also increase its high-volume precision fuel system capabilities as a result of greater demand for diesel engines.
The Churubusco Town Council has approved a request for phase-in of personal property taxes on approximately $8 million in new machinery and equipment. The Whitley County EDC is working with C&A Tool and regional economic development partners, such as the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) and the Talent Initiative, on the expansion.
C&A Tool supplies the transportation, aeronautical, medical, business equipment, food processing, appliances, consumer goods, and machine tools sectors. It is also FDA-approved to supply the medical, surgical, pharmaceutical, and food industries.
