The company’s new location will serve customers in the eastern portion of the U.S.
“We are thrilled to announce the establishment of our first operation in Ohio,” said Ira Maroofian, CEO of Pinnpack and Nuvo Packaging. “Columbus offers a strategic location and a skilled workforce, making it an ideal choice for our expansion efforts. We are confident that our investment in this new facility will not only enable us to better serve our clients, but also contribute to the economic growth of the region.”
To support the project the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 1.194 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit.
“We and our partners welcome Nuvo Packaging’s decision to establish its first Ohio operations in the Columbus Region, where it will create 100 new jobs,” noted JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef. “With its ideal location, Nuvo Packaging’s newest manufacturing operations will provide recyclable food packaging for the Eastern United States with talent from Ohio.”
Nuvo Packaging specializes in manufacturing recyclable food packaging for the bakery, deli, confectionary, and food services industries.
