RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation Opens Fort Mill, South Carolina, Headquarters
05/23/2018
Founded in 2007, RoundPoint is a fully licensed agency and non-agency subservicer for commercial banks, credit unions, mortgage companies and hedge funds. The company currently services more than $75 billion of mortgage assets, which are comprised of its own assets and loans subserviced for many other types of investors worldwide. Licensed in all 50 states, RoundPoint is publicly rated by Fitch Ratings, Standard & Poor’s and Kroll Bond Rating Agency.
RoundPoint’s new headquarters is expected to be operational by the third quarter of 2019. For this project, the Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved job development credits, as well as a $500,000 Set Aside grant to York County to assist with the costs of site preparation and building construction.
“We are very appreciative of the opportunity to move our headquarters to South Carolina and are especially grateful to Governor Henry McMaster, Secretary Robert M. Hitt III and the S.C. Department of Commerce for working so closely with us to make this move possible. Establishing our new headquarters here is an important part of our vision and growth plan as we add new employees to transform our business and achieve our aggressive business goals. It’s an exciting time for our organization, and I want to express my personal thanks to our employees who are the lifeblood of our company and the chief reason for our continued success,” said RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation CEO Kevin Brungardt.
“When a company chooses to invest in our state and create jobs for our people, it shows that Team South Carolina’s efforts to create opportunities for our people are paying off. I congratulate RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation on its decision to build its corporate headquarters here and I’m honored to welcome them to the South Carolina business community,” Governor Henry McMaster said.
“Today, we’re proud to celebrate the continued diversification of our economy in South Carolina. Not only is our state a leader in advanced manufacturing, we’re also home to many headquarters and office operations. We look forward to working with RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation in the years ahead and are excited by the difference they will make in York County,” Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt noted.
